Geranium Bourbon

Pelargonium graveolens


Geranium Bourbon is a tropical plant native to South Africa. And yet we grow it in the Drôme, protecting it from the cold in winter. Twice a year, we harvest it by hand, discarding the stalks to keep only the leaves, and immediately start extracting its aromas.

Today it is used to enhance the finest cuisine, bringing a fragrance with a strong hint of rose, but more delicate. The geranium we have selected also gives a delightful secondary note of litchi, particularly well suited to desserts.
